ELECTRICAL ENGINEER opportunity at a highly regarded firm near Denver, CO. Regional travel up to 20%. Includes attractive relocation. Requires experience with Power distribution concentration in a heavy industrial environment. Will provide engineering and design support for large and small capital or maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and Design Electrical Power systems for field projects
• Ensure design and installation meet technical requirements, meet requirements of applicable codes and standards
• Ensure work is performed within budget and schedule
• Support troubleshoot operations to resolve operational issues
• Project management and technical support for capital and maintenance projects

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering required
• Minimum 5 to 30+ years with Power distribution concentration in a heavy industrial environment such as oil and/or gas processing, refinery, power, etc. A PLUS if have experience in Oil & Gas
• A PLUS to have working knowledge of CAD or power system analysis software such as SKM or ETAP
• Must have a strong background in engineering fundamentals in electrical power and distribution systems, service entrance design, motor control centers, switchgear, power generation, load analysis, grounding, control system, and electrical equipment application
• A PLUS to be familiar with the application of ISA, IEEE, NFPA, and ANSI standards to electrical equipment specification, and application
• Good interpersonal;, verbal, and written communications and leadership skills
