Our client, managing a program for an agency within the Department of Defense to review third party A / E work, has an immediate need for 2 Sr. Electrical Engineers in the Annapolis Junction, MD area to design modifications to electrical systems and components for Tier III and Tier IV data centers and mission critical facilities. These will be a PERMANENT positions. Local candidates are preferred but relocation assistance is available. Must be TS / SCI eligible. Proof of US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a high level DOD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assure conformance to the intent of the client's data center(s) and campus improvement programs, industry design standards, and applicable electrical codes
• Make design recommendations to increase electrical efficiencies, help resolve technical issues, and manage information generated through the design and construction phases of multiple and concurrent projects
• Design electrical systems and panels using mid to high voltage for data centers or facility modernization programs

Requirements

• 15+ years of electrical engineering experience with a Federal data center, campus or facility modernization background
• Design expertise in electrical systems, components and panels using mid to high voltage
• BS in Electrical Engineering
• PE registration required and LEED certification preferred
